Education for All Project: Supporting Children in Bubanza

Bubanza, The “Education for All Projectcontinues to transform lives by bringing hope and opportunity to vulnerable children. La Casa Humana Burundi (CAHUBU), in partnership with the Social Welfare Association, recently carried out a meaningful initiative on Kagwema A hill in Bubanza Province.

During this activity, 25 children received essential school materials, equipping them to begin the academic year with dignity, confidence, and the tools they need to succeed. For many of these children, the support extended far beyond notebooks and pens — it was a powerful reminder that their education matters and that their community stands firmly beside them.

The team expressed deep appreciation for the guidance and supervision provided throughout the project, as well as the invaluable support that made the initiative possible. Volunteers described the day as uplifting, with children smiling as they held their new supplies and parents voicing heartfelt gratitude for the assistance.

“Education is the foundation of a brighter future” said representatives of La Casa Humana. “By supporting vulnerable children, we are not only giving them the tools to learn but also the confidence to dream and the dignity to thrive.”
