Bujumbura, December 31, 2024 – At the close of the year, the association LA CASA HUMANA DU BURUNDI (CA.HU.BU) carried out an act of solidarity for underprivileged patients at the Centre Hospitalo-Universitaire de Kamenge Roi Khaled (CHUK). More than 600 soaps were distributed to help improve their hygiene and well-being during their hospital stay.

A gesture for health and dignity
Each soap offered represents a step toward better health and greater comfort for particularly vulnerable people. The association emphasized that hygiene is an essential element in the healing process and that such initiatives can have a tangible impact on patients’ quality of life.

The strength of the collective
This action was made possible thanks to the dedication of volunteers and the support of the association’s partners. Their commitment demonstrates that together, it is possible to make a difference and provide simple yet vital solutions to the daily needs of the most fragile.

A call to continue solidarity
LA CASA HUMANA DU BURUNDI invites the community to multiply acts of solidarity, whether small or large, that contribute to improving the lives of the underprivileged. “Together, we make the difference,” the association reminded, closing the year on a note of humanity and hope.
