La Casa Humana of Burundi Brings Care to Patients at Prince Régent Charles Hospital

Bujumbura Mairie, April 2024 — Guided by the principle “Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages”), La Casa Humana of Burundi (CA.HU.BU), in partnership with Light of Life Church, carried out a remarkable act of solidarity at Prince Régent Charles Hospital in Buyenzi.

The joint initiative focused on supporting the most vulnerable patients hospitalized at the facility. More than 300 individuals received medical consultations, nourishing meals, clothing, and essential hygiene items such as soap. For many, this gesture was not only a relief but also a reminder that they are cared for and valued.

The atmosphere was filled with gratitude and hope as patients expressed joy at the kindness shown to them. Volunteers from both organizations emphasized that health and dignity are fundamental rights, and that community-driven compassion can make a tangible difference in people’s lives.

“We believe that every person deserves to be treated with dignity and love, especially during times of illness,” said representatives of La Casa Humana. “This initiative is a testament to what can be achieved when faith and humanity come together.”
